Nothing short of perfect!!!! Thank you so much Positive: Our stay was nothing short than perfect. This home is one that you walk in and feel like you’ve opened your own front door. The coziness is exceptional, the house is like narnia leading from room to room and just becoming better and better. Our host was just phenomenal, consistent communication. Allowed us early check in and even requested to send a heads up on our journey so they could ensure the fire was on prior to arrival and this honestly was the cherry on top of the most amazing cake. Location was perfect with no worries for our 3 family SUV’s to park directly outside. I have and run my own cleaning company and have to say the place was absolutely squeaky clean. The Christmas tree made the extra touch and the hamper was just so sweet. Everything you could possibly require was at the property. Including a travel cot and high chair. The main bathroom bath was the highlight of my stay as a mum of a toddler and a business owner, being on a family trip I took full advantage of some time out and had 3 baths. Haha, I felt like I had been to a spa each time! Chesnut house would not do more for us. I enquired straight away for Christmas prices for next year as it honestly was just a dream. The oven is great - the fridge has both fridge and freeezer. I made a big family breakfast and there was absolutely no struggle for room or pots / pans equipment. And a dishwasher to make life that bit easier. Thank you so so much. You made our families early Christmas and we cannot wait to come back. I felt like I was in a movie from how cosy it was and just how easy it felt to stay. I would recommend Chesnut house to anyone and everyone. Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like however just a few things from a toddler parent point of view. We had slight difficulty with the travel cot as one side wouldn’t click into place but my son still happily slept in it and was safe to do so. He is also very much on the move so into everything, only a couple of corners of the tables may have benefitted from covers if families are staying but we had no accidents just a heads up if anyone else has a crazy toddler haha.
