The Palms, Folkestone Beach

Positive: Best location in Folkstone. Across the street from the main beach and walkway. A short walk to the Harbour Market, and the beautiful artistic high street. The house is decorated spectacularly, and had all the amenities we could have asked for. The hosts were marvelous and accommodating, even making a high chair available for our baby. Phenomenal holiday.

Traumhaftes Apartment mit Meerblick und perfekter Lage – absolut empfehlenswert! Positive: Wir waren zu fünft in diesem wunderschönen Apartment und hatten unglaublich viel Platz – wirklich außergewöhnlich! Jeder hatte genügend Raum für sich, sodass man sich nie eingeengt gefühlt hat. Alles ist äußerst gepflegt und es hat uns an absolut nichts gefehlt. So ein schönes Apartment hatten wir bisher noch nie. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die hervorragend ausgestattete Küche, in der es wirklich an nichts mangelt. Das absolute Highlight ist jedoch das traumhafte Wohnzimmer: Der direkte Blick auf das Meer sorgt für ein unvergleichliches Urlaubsgefühl – einfach atemberaubend! Auch die Lage ist perfekt: Sowohl der Hafen als auch die Innenstadt sind in nur wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer macht. Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern war ebenfalls erstklassig. Sie waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und haben uns sogar einen früheren Check-in ermöglicht, was perfekt zu unserer Ankunft gepasst hat. Alles in allem können wir dieses Apartment uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Negative: Alles war perfekt - es gibt nichts zu bemängeln!

A wonderful stay with friends. Positive: The decor was very tasteful. So clean. Amazing sea views. Great location. Fabulous would definitely recommend Negative: Wasn’t keen on using the fire and it was cold.

Positive: All rooms including kitchen, very good size, and high ceilings. Great seafront location. Loads of light. Close to the centre of town. Hosts and agents handling the property were very easy to deal with, and very helpful. Gave us flexibility over check in and check out. Overall, a great flat. Negative: Only small points, but they still niggled. No hooks anywhere for wet towels. Our bedroom door lacked a handle, and wouldn't close (in fact, it kept swinging open). Only bright overhead lights in the two bedrooms we used, without working dimmers. (Bedside lights for nighttime would be much nicer).
